Pamukkale & Hierapolis Excursion
After picking you up from your hotel in Dalaman between 6:30 and 7:10 am, we'll head north in the direction of Pamukkale. Ready to explore the famous Turkish 'cotton castle?'
About 3 hours later, we will arrive at the natural pools of Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage site that will leave you speechless. You'll learn all about how the site got its characteristic white color and all of its curious properties.
Once you've soaked in the "cotton castle's" natural beauty and white terraced pools, we'll continue on to the archaeological complex of Hierapolis, one of the main Roman sites in Turkey.
We'll get to know all of the illustrious characters that are buried in the tombs of this necropolis, and explore the site's ancient Roman theater. In its prime, the theater could house up to 20,000 spectators!
After exploring the ruins of Hierapolis, the group will head to a restaurant, where we'll enjoy a delicious typical meal. Then, once our appetites have been satisfied, we'll start on our way back to your hotel, where the tour will end between 6:30 and 7 pm.
