Taekwondo Class
Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time at the taekwondo academy located on Dalseo-ro 26-gil. Once we're all together, we'll take our positions and begin a class at the famous Daegu Martial Arts Centre.
We'll begin with a theory lesson about the philosophy, history and combat abilities of Taekwondo. After understanding this martial art, we'll prepare ourselves with some breathing and concentration techniques for a meditation center.
After getting focused and centered during the meditation session, the real fun will begin. First, we'll warm up and perform some taekwondo stretches, then the class will kick off. Positions, breathing, concentration...Did you know that the majority of success in the world of taekwondo is owed to mental and emotional abilities?
To put the cherry on top, we'll put our abilities to the test to see if we can break a pine board with the skills we'll have acquired. Think you can manage it? Once we've completed the class we'll also receive a certificate proving you've passed. Awesome, right?
After an hour and a half, we'll say our goodbyes, but not before we get a souvenir photo with the sabom (instructor). Well done!
