Sacred Valley of the Incas Quad Bike Tour

  • 66 reviews | 815 travellers
The activity was very good, but I just want to say that if it weren't for a flat tire, I think we wouldn't have been able to take any photos on the quad bikes. I attribute it to the guide's comment (very good by the way) that there might not have been enough time to get to the salt flats in daylight. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Sacred Valley of the Incas Quad Bike Tour

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between the following different options. Both options include pickup from your hotel in Cusco at the time of your choice and drop-off in Plaza de Armas six hours later.

Moray & Maras Salt Mines Tour (6 hours)

Ready for an adventure? We'll go by minibus to the community of Cruz Pata, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once there, we'll get on the quads and we'll briefly explain some safety rules to be respected throughout the activity.

We'll start the quad route heading to the Inca site of Moray, where we'll admire the concentric rings that reveal the existence of an ancient civilization. Next, we'll go to the salt mines of Maras, which offer incredible views of the Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of Verónica and Chicón. You'll be amazed by this unique landscape where 5-meter diameter wells nestled in the mountain really stand out – an area that's sure to leave an impression!

Huaypo Lagoon & Maras Salt Mines Tour (6 hours)

If you choose this option, we'll head first to the Huaypo Lagoon, a beautiful spot located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the quads, we'll explore this region and admire its variety of flora and fauna while we learn about the history and legends that are told of this area. Did you know that there are also some legends of UFO sightings here?

We'll continue with the quad tour by heading to the Maras Salt Mines, where you'll have unbeatable views of the Vilcanota River before heading back to Cusco.

Morada de los Dioses Tour (2 hours)

After picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at the indicated time, we'll set off on a 15 to 20-minute drive to arrive at the base of Ticatica. Upon arrival, we'll listen in on a brief safety introduction to quad driving, ensuring we're safe and sound during our trip. Then, we'll enjoy a 40-minute ride that will put ou newfound knowledge to the test. Get ready for an adrenaline rush!

Before you know it, we'll arrive at "El Apukunaq Tianan" or Morada de los Dioses. Roughly translated to "the Gods Dwellings" in English, this incredible site is home to sculptures of Incan and Andean gods and goddesses. Stretching up to 8 meters tall (26 feet), we'll immerse ourselves in this outdoor sculpture museum. After 40 minutes, and plenty of photos, we'll return to the base of Ticatica and head back to Cusco.

Morada de los Dioses + Piuray Lagoon Tour (3 hours)

We'll kick off our adventure after picking you up from your hotel in Cusco and heading to the base of Ticatica. Here, we'll listen to a brief safety introduction before hopping on our quads.

Once on the quad, we'll start a journey with a distance of 50 kilometers (31 miles) round trip. We'll head to the Morada de los Dioses, arriving after 40 minutes. Afterward, we'll continue the route to Piuray Lagoon, which, with its dark blue color that reflects the immense Andean sky, is a true natural paradise!

At the end of the visit, we'll return to the base and take you back to Cusco.
