Poc Poc Waterfall Hike
Poc Poc Waterfall Hike
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to then make our way towards Chinchero, where we'll begin our journey. Are you ready for this adventure? Let's go!
We'll begin our hike from the Chinchero police station, crossing the charming historic centre. As we keep going, we'll discover the impressive platforms of the Q'apaq Ñan, a complex pre-Inca and Inca road system that linked the entire empire. You'll be truly fascinated by the history that this amazing place holds.
We'll keep making our way into the Poc Poc Valley, where you'll be amazed by the stunning panoramic views. During the trek, we'll also learn about the different native plants of the area, their Quechua names and their ancestral healing uses. Our next stop will be at the impressive Poc Poc waterfalls, where the majesty of the waterfall will leave you absolutely speechless.
After enjoying this natural spectacle, we'll take a break to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch made of seasonal local products and drink muña tea, the mint of the andes.
Following a pleasant post-dinner drink, we'll return to the rural community of Urquillos, where the hiking trail will end.
After 5 hours together, we'll return to the hotels.
