Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour with Tickets

  • 106 reviews | 1,927 travellers
I found the tour to be very well planned by the agency. They got us train tickets on the first day at a very convenient time so we had enough time to get to know the town of Machu Picchu, which is very nice to visit. On the second day I had my entrance to the complex in the morning so I had enough time to climb the Huayna Picchu mountain apart from the circuit without rushing, as the return train schedule was also convenient in the afternoon.

Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour

Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes

On the first day of the excursion, we'll pick you up at the time of your choice from your hotel in Cusco and set off on the two-hour bus journey to Ollantaytambo. Arriving in this picturesque Andean town, we'll catch the train for the hour and a half ride through spectacular landscapes. Towering mountains, lush green rolling hills, flowing rivers... an impressive sight!

When we get to the town of Aguas Calientes, we'll take you to the hotel where you'll spend the night. You'll then have the rest of the day free to explore the town at your leisure.

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll board a bus ready for the highlight of our two-day tour: Machu Picchu. Ready to explore the historic Inca citadel?

Arriving at the hilltop ruins, we'll embark on a two-and-a-half guided tour through the streets and structures of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

We'll then return by bus to Aguas Calientes, and you'll have time to buy lunch and see more of the town before we catch the train back to Ollantaytambo. We'll make the journey by bus back to Cusco where you'll be dropped off at your hotel after two unforgettable days.
