Inca Wedding Ceremony

  • 5 reviews | 20 travellers
It was a very special day and a very cool activity. Our guide was extremely kind and friendly. The ceremony was beautiful and moving. Lunch was wonderful and they served a dish adapted for us, who don't eat meat. The photos were beautiful and the photographers were super kind. It was an experience that will be etched in memory.

A traditional Inca wedding in Cuzco offers a truly unique and meaningful way to unite in love, with a ceremony set amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cuzco at the scheduled time. From there, we'll head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the enchanting setting for your traditional marriage ceremony.

As we head to the Sacred Valley, we'll pause to snap some photos against the backdrop of the Andean mountains. This valley, framed by mountains and featuring serene lagoons and snow-capped peaks, is a natural wonder worth experiencing.

Upon arrival, we'll carefully select the ideal location for your ceremony, ensuring beautiful decoration and attention to every detail. You'll discover a dedicated table for the bride and groom, adorned with flowers and graced with wine and fresh fruit.

Before proceeding with the ceremony, we'll enjoy a traditional regional meal with an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Following this delightful culinary experience, we'll raise a toast to celebrate the newlyweds' happiness.

Now, it's time for the highly anticipated traditional Andean marriage ceremony! A respected shaman will bless your union while you're adorned in authentic Incan attire. To conclude this meaningful event, the shaman will encourage you to find a moment of tranquility and focus, bringing the ceremony to a close.

In addition, a photographer will be present to capture every moment, and traditional Andean music will provide a heartfelt backdrop during the ceremony.

After approximately 10 hours of unforgettable moments, we'll provide transportation back to your hotel.

Ritual legality

It's important to note that this Incan ritual does not hold legal recognition and, therefore, does not constitute a legally binding marriage. Instead, it serves as a spiritually enriching ceremony symbolizing the deep love and connection between the couple.
