Huayopata Private Coffee Tour
Description
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the designated time and set off for the Hilario Perez coffee farm in the middle of the Peruvian jungle. After a four-hour journey, we'll reach the district of Huayopata.
When we arrive, we'll be welcomed by the family, who'll take us on a guided tour of the farm to show us all the daily work that goes into producing one of the best coffees in Peru! During the tour, we'll get to see the tools used to harvest the beans, and you'll even get to help out! We'll also discover all the different kinds of coffee and tropical plants that are cultivated here.
Afterwards, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch on the farm that will include homemade delicacies such as soup, chicken, and fish. With our batteries charged, we'll learn all about the process of roasting coffee, a five-step task that you'll get to try out for yourself! Lastly, you'll get to taste a cup of coffee!
At the end of the tour, we'll make our way back to the starting point, arriving after a total of 14.5 hours.
