Siete Tazas National Park Hiking Tour
Siete Tazas National Park Hiking Tour
We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel in Curicó to head towards the Siete Tazas National Park, one of the great natural jewels of the Chilean region of Maule.
The first stop will be at the Velo de la Novia viewpoint, a long waterfall that increases its flow during the thawing season. Then, we'll drive by road to the so-called Sendero Universal (Universal Trail) to contemplate the famous waterfalls that give the park its name. After observing these waterfalls, we'll follow the route by minibus to the Parque Ingles: a beautiful natural space located on the banks of the Claro River.
Here we'll take a 2-hour walk along the Mala Cara trail, a low-difficulty route where we'll stop for a picnic lunch including a sandwich, a cereal bar, a chocolate bar and a typical Chilean food called ñaco. At another point on the route, we'll take another break to recharge our batteries with a picnic snack of nuts, cheese and salami.
The hiking route will take us to the Mala Cara Pass, where we'll continue to enjoy the Nothofagus forests and other trees and bushes native to the Chilean Andes.
Finally, we'll walk back to the Parque Inglés and from there we'll take you back to your hotel in Curicó, where we'll arrive at 6 pm.
Tour without pickup
If you prefer, you can also opt for the option without pickup. In this case, we'll meet directly at 10 am at the Velo de la Novia viewpoint, located on the K275 route in the Chilean town of Molina.
