Our journey begins at 5 pm on Calle Larga, where you and your group will embark on a private tour of Cuenca's historic center. Over the course of approximately two hours, you'll be enchanted by the charms of this Castilian-La Mancha city.
We'll begin our guided tour by passing through the Bezudo Arch, unveiling the former headquarters of the Holy Inquisition. As we continue, we'll stroll past the San Pedro church, constructed on the site of an ancient Arab mosque during the era of Alfonso VIII.
Our adventure will carry us through the heart of Cuenca until we reach one of the city's most enchanting spots: the Florencio Cañas viewpoint. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the town's historic aqueduct. Our route will also take us past the former residence of José Luis Perales, the Posada de San José, and eventually circle back to the Plaza Mayor.
Here, we'll stand in awe of the magnificent facade of Cuenca's Cathedral, a symbol and centerpiece of the city. Facing this grand building, we'll delve into the history and hidden tales of Castile's inaugural Gothic church.
Continuing our journey, we'll visit the renowned Casas Colgadas (Hanging Houses) and the San Pablo Bridge, two iconic sites that are unmissable during your Cuenca visit. Our private tour culminates at the Old Convent of San Pablo, now the Parador de Cuenca.
