What better way to get to know Cuenca than with a private guide? Discover the charm of this Ecuadorian city in the most personalized way alongside friends and family!
Private Tour of Cuenca
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cuenca to kick off our private tour through the most significant sites in Cuenca. This city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers picturesque streets and rich architecture to be discovered. Founded in 1557 over an Incan settlement, Cuenca will captivate you!
Wandering around, we'll arrive at the San Sebastian neighbourhood, west of the city's old town. Here, we'll visit one of the most famous churches in Cuenca, the San Sebastian Church. Just a few feet away, we'll also find Calderón Park, an expansive green space surrounded by the city's most important governing bodies: the Government building, City Hall, two Cathedrals, and the Palace of Justice.
This provides the perfect transition to turn our eyes from Cuenca's picture-perfect alleyways to the city's rich architecture. We'll admire the juxtaposed view of the Old Cathedral and New Cathedral, two symbols of excellence in the city standing side by side. We'll also enter the Old Cathedral, the biggest in the country, to observe the beautifully constructed pavilion with gold leaf details and pink marble. A true feast for the eyes!
To conclude our immersive tour, we'll visit the Ethnographic Museum, where we'll discover the different lifestyles of each region in Ecuador. The museum's collection dives into the culture, art, and traditions of Cuenca and the country.
After 3 hours of getting to know the city, we'll part ways, bringing the day to a close.
