At the scheduled time, we'll meet up on Suncoast Boulevard and set out for an incredible experience of swimming with manatees, a must if you're in Crystal River, Florida!
To begin with, we'll board a boat that will take us through the Indian River to Crystal River. Be on the lookout! During the trip, in addition to admiring the beautiful scenery, we'll be able to see dolphins, river otters, bald eagles, and other species.
Once we reach the perfect spot to swim with manatees, it'll be time to jump in the water! Equipped with your snorkel mask, you'll dive into the waters of Crystal River in search of these special marine mammals.
You'll have time to swim with these adorable animals and see them in their natural habitat. Did you know that they feed on seagrass and can measure up to 4 meters (13 feet) and weigh up to 600 kilograms (1,322 pounds)? You'll learn tons of fun facts!
Rest assured that they are very peaceful and are used to humans. If after swimming with the manatees we still have some time left, we'll go to Three Sisters Spring, a beautiful natural area with crystal clear waters.
After a total of three hours of adventure, we'll say our goodbyes back at the meeting point.
