Description
At the indicated time we'll meet at SE Kings Bay Dr to begin this boat ride on Crystal River. A must-do activity if you're in this Florida destination!
From the boat, we'll enjoy the calm waters of the river while cruising the Gulf of Mexico. It's undoubtedly the best way to explore the flora and fauna of the area. Did you know that Kings Bay is the second-largest spring system in Florida?
We'll also be able to admire the headwaters of the Crystal River, a bay inhabited by wading birds, waterfowl, black-crowned night herons, wood storks, bald eagles, brown and white pelicans, osprey, red-tailed hawks, and of course the endangered manatee. These are just a few of the many animals that depend on this ecosystem to survive.
After a 1.5-hour boat ride, we'll return to the starting point to say goodbye.
