Transfer to Chihuahua + Mennonite Community Lunch
We'll pick you up at the time of your choice at your hotel in Creel and set off for Chihuahua, the picturesque capital of the Mexican state of the same name.
As we move away from Creel, we'll cross a curious natural environment where uniquely-shaped rocks take center stage. These are the valleys of Las Ranas and Los Hongos, which are located in one of the most spectacular spots in the state of Chihuahua.
Leaving these landscapes behind, we'll make our way to Cuauhtémoc. On the outskirts of this city, we find the large fields of a Mennonite community, a group of Protestants of the Anabaptist branch that rejects any type of technological advancement. Their customs are therefore deeply rooted, as they follow a very traditional lifestyle.
We'll stop at a local farm run by members of this religious denomination, where we'll spend five hours in the community learning about their traditions. While we're there, we'll also have a traditional lunch with members of the Mennonite community and learn about different recipes of their traditiuonal cuisine.
After lunch, we'll continue our journey to Chihuahua, where we'll arrive at 7 pm. In this city, there are many places that you can visit on your own, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral or the Historical Museum of the Mexican Revolution.
