Hiking Through the Tararecua Canyon
Upon picking you up at your hotel at the designated time, we'll depart from Creel and make our way toward Tararecua Canyon. As we venture through this natural landscape nestled in Sierra Tarahumara mountain range, one of Mexico's most awe-inspiring regions, we'll embark on an unforgettable hiking adventure.
When we arrive at the canyon, we'll begin our hike while basking in the picturesque scenery around us. This excursion through Tararecua Canyon will show us beautiful views of canyons, mountains, caverns, forests, waterfalls, rivers, springs, and the magnificent biodiversity of the southwestern region of Chihuahua state.
The hiking trail is approximately 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) long and takes roughly seven hours to complete. However, we'll adapt to the group's pace and make plenty of stops to take pictures.
A refreshing picnic lunch consisting of a turkey sandwich, fruit, cookies, and a beverage will be served halfway through the hike to recharge our energy.
As we continue on our journey, we'll reach Ekarine hot springs. As a reward for completing the long hike, you can indulge in a relaxing bath in these natural pools next to the river, situated at the base of Tararecua Ravine - an unforgettable experience!
Following the Tararecua Ravine hiking tour, we'll transport you back to your hotel in Creel.
