At the appointed time, we'll gather at Hotel Hacienda Don Armando, where Doña Soco, an expert cook, will be waiting to welcome us. From the very beginning, you'll feel right at home as you embark on a journey to uncover the best-kept secrets of Chihuahua's gastronomy.
Once in the kitchen, Doña Soco will guide us as we prepare one of four traditional Chihuahua dishes that you can choose from. Are you in the mood for a classic chili with beef, or perhaps a comforting potato stew with chilaca? Maybe you're craving a juicy carne asada with beans, or the famous discada sierreña, featuring an irresistible mix of grilled meats. Tough choice, right?
Each recipe we prepare will have a unique touch that captures the essence of Chihuahua, and Doña Soco will guide us step by step along the way. Once the cooking is complete, we’ll sit down to savor the delicious dishes we’ve created, accompanied by a bottle of red wine from the Encinillas winery, which pairs beautifully with the bold flavors of Chihuahua cuisine.
