On this snorkelling in a turtle sanctuary activity in Cozumel, we'll learn about the marine life in one of the biggest islands in the Mexican Caribbean. You'll love it!
Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at the flagpole of the Birds Monument. From here, we'll start this fun snorkelling activity at a turtle sanctuary in Cozumel. Welcome to the biggest island in the Mexican Caribbean.
Once we have been given our snorkelling equipment, we'll head to the Casa Blanca Reef. Ready to get in the water? In this area, since it's the deepest, there's a chance that we'll see some of the biggest species, such as spotted eagle rays or barracudas.
The second stop of the day will be the turtle sanctuary, where you can explore this part of the unique reef system. Here, you'll be amazed at the spectacular coral formations and, of course, spot some marine turtles.
Our next stop is El Cielo. In these turquoise waters, we'll find starfish. You can only access this area by boat and it's one of the best places to snorkel in Cozumel.
We can't finish this snorkelling activity without stopping by El Cielito, El Cielo's little brother. Its waters are as impressive and it also has a long sandy beach. It'll be the perfect place to drop anchor, relax and enjoy a Mexican snack which will include guacamole and totopos.
Our activity will end 4 hours after it started at the initial meeting point. See you soon!
Restrictions
Those who don't know how to swim, pregnant women, elderly people who are unable to move and children under 5 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult, will not be able to take part in the activity.
