Mexican lucha libre (freestyle wrestling) is a unique experience full of color and passion that has captivated audiences since 1933 with its masked actors and epic battles between rudos and técnicos ("tough guys" and "good guys").
With this activity, you'll enjoy a show rich in folklore and Mexican tradition. You'll experience up close how luchadores (Lucha libre wrestlers) fight in their colorful masks, each representing its own story and character. Choose your favorite luchador and see how they fight to restore the balance between good and evil!
Show Options
During the booking process, you can choose three different show options. Regardless of your choice, we'll meet at the designated time at the 2.98-mile (4.8-kilometer) mark on Costera Sur Road to see the lucha libre show in Cozumel, where six luchadores will fight in an authentic Mexican arena for 55 minutes.
Please read the following details for each option below:
Lucha Libre Show (2 Hours & 15 Minutes)
We'll greet you with a welcome tequila to begin this Mexican experience. Cheers! Afterward, we'll share a brief introduction of what you're about to see and take you to the arena, where you'll sit and get ready for the show.
The show will begin with an introduction video that will immerse you in the world of lucha libre. From this moment on, you'll enjoy an exciting performance where six luchadores will battle in the arena. Don't forget to cheer on your favorite wrestlers!
Once the show is over, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to take it all in and enjoy the local atmosphere.
Show + Backstage Pass (2 Hours & 45 Minutes)
If you choose this option, in addition to enjoying the lucha libre show, you'll have the chance to meet the luchadores in person.
You'll first receive a welcome tequila just like the previously described option and then see the performance of the six luchadores. After the show is finished, you'll be allowed backstage, where you can take a picture with the heroes of the ring and have them sign a souvenir card. It'll be an unforgettable experience!
Show + Tacos & Margaritas (2 Hours & 45 Minutes)
With this option, you'll enjoy an activity filled with excitement, fun, and flavor. After experiencing the vibrant lucha libre show, you'll indulge in a delicious lunch including three tacos and two margaritas. What a feast!
