Costa Teguise Aquarium Ticket
By booking your ticket to the Costa Teguise Aquarium, you'll get to visit the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands. This aquarium boasts over 1 million litres of water distributed across 33 spaces where you'll be able to see hundreds of marine species.
As you wander around the aquarium, you'll see everything from typical Canarian species such as moray eels, bream, gilt-head bream and Canary damsels, to brightly coloured tropical fish. You'll also be able to see the King of the Ocean, as the aquarium houses a wide variety of sharks in its underwater tunnel and 500,000-litre central tank.
If you're interested in learning lots of fun facts about marine wildlife, the Aquarium also has 3 tanks with touch screens. By using the touch screens, you'll be able to learn more about the unique species in the aquarium, such as sea urchins and cucumbers.
In addition to having fun during your visit, you'll see how the aquarium raises awareness about environmental concerns and the dangers of pollution. You'll also be able to visit a unique space, the 'rubbish aquarium', which recreates the current state of some parts of Lanzarote's coastline.
Opening hours
The Costa Teguise Aquarium is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Please bear in mind that the last permitted admission is at 5:15 pm.
