Paxos, Blue Caves & Gaios Day Trip
At 8:45 am, we'll set sail from Corfu on a boat that'll take us through the Ionian Sea to where the Paxos Archipelago, the Blue Caves and Gaios await!
To begin we'll pass by Mon Repo Palace, which belongs to the Greek Royal Family. We'll then travel past the towns of Perama, Benitses and Kavos on our way to Cape Asprokavos. From here, you'll gaze out at breathtaking views of the cypress and olive trees that are spread across Paxos. Legend has it that these landscapes were formed by Poseidon when he cut the tip of Corfu with his trident.
Our boat will then take us around the north side of Paxos as we make our way into Gaios Bay. When we step off the boat in the capital and main port of Paxos, you'll have some free time to eat lunch, stroll along the streets and beaches, swim and sunbathe.
We'll reconvene and set sail once again to cruise along the west coast of Paxos so we can pass through the famous Blue Caves, which are home to the monk seals. Our next stop will be the small island of Antipaxos, where we'll take a swim at the dreamlike Paradise Beach.
To round off our day trip, we'll sail along the east coast of Paxos and take in breathtaking views of Skaltsonisi and Mongonisi Islands. Don't forget your camera!
After 10 hours of exploring, we'll return to the meeting point in Corfu.
