Discover the beautiful landscapes and charming villages of Calamuchita Valley on this tour of Villa General Belgrano, La Cumbrecita, and Los Molinos Dam.
Villa General Belgrano and La Cumbrecita
Get ready to enjoy an unforgettable day of nature and rural tourism. We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 9 am and set off for the Calamuchita Valley.
On the way, we’ll get to see the magnificent monument in honour of the actress Myriam Stefford. We’ll also travel through Alta Gracia, Anicaste, La Bolsa and Villa Ciudad de América, as well as streams that flow into the Lago de los Molinos lake and the towns of Potrero de Garay and Los Reartes.
Our journey will continue up the Sierras Grandes and Villa Berna until we reach La Cumbrecita, where you’ll be greeted by a sign declaring it as "Argentina's first pedestrian town". We’ll then set off on a guided walking tour of the town. First, we’ll head to the Ecumenical chapel, located at the end of a beautiful forest path. We’ll then walk to a spectacular waterfall where we’ll take some time to relax and enjoy the natural environment. We’ll also stroll through the centre of the village to admire the architecture of its buildings.
Our next stop will be Villa General Belgrano, known as the German town of Argentina because it was founded by settlers from the European country. It also hosts the second most popular Oktoberfest in South America!
At the end of the trip we’ll return to Córdoba, arriving by around 7 pm.
