Hamlet & Sweden Tour

On the morning of your tour, meet your guide at 9:30 am on Banegårdspladsen in Copenhagen. From there, we'll set off on the 45-minute drive to our first destination: Helsingør.

In this picturesque Danish town, also spelled Elsinore, you'll have 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to visit Kronborg. Also known as Hamlet's Castle, this magnificent Medieval fortress was William Shakespeare's inspiration for the setting of one of his most famous plays. If you'd prefer, you can also choose to visit the Maritime Museum of Denmark in Helsingør, home to a large collection of historic Scandinavian ships.

We'll then meet back up at Helsingør harbour, where we'll catch a boat over to Helsingborg, a Swedish city located just half an hour away on the opposite side of the Øresund strait. From Helsingborg, we'll make the journey by bus to Lund, a charming Nordic town where you'll have 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to buy lunch and visit its places of interest at your own pace. Amongst its beautiful landmarks is the striking Romanesque Lund Cathedral.

Leaving Lund behind, we'll travel to Malmö. You'll have 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to explore this Swedish city and take in its avant-garde architecture, like the emblematic Turning Torso Tower.

After making the most of our time in Malmö, we'll get back on the bus and cross over the Øresund Bridge in the direction of Copenhagen. We'll arrive back at the original departure point in the Danish capital at around 6:30 pm.

Required Documents

During the tour, we'll cross the border and enter Sweden. You must bring a valid, current passport or identity card on the day of the tour.
