Explore Cologne's Most Famous Pubs

Calling all beer enthusiasts! We’ll begin our tour of Cologne's public brewhouses at Heumarkt 6, right by the historic Zur Malzmühle brewery.

Here, you can sip on an ice-cold beer or two as we dive into the unique customs and traditions that make Cologne’s brewhouses so special. Our guide will tell us all about local beers such as Kölsch, and we'll find out how they should be served.

During the tour, you'll get the chance to explore Cologne in a unique way. As we wander through the city’s vibrant streets, you’ll get to experience its rich brewing culture firsthand, from the bustling atmosphere of the brewhouses to the stories behind each pint. Along the way, we’ll also teach you how to order local beers like a local, so you can impress with your expert knowledge.

From there, we’ll move on and explore three more of Cologne’s iconic brewhouses. Typical stops include Gilden im Zims, the traditional Sion brewhouse, and the lively Bierhaus en d'r Salzgass. With 43 brewhouses in Cologne, we’re spoilt for choice!

Finally, after a total of 2-2.5 hours, our tour will come to an end in the middle of the Old Town.
