Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Lunch Cruise
Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay Lunch Cruise
Once we've met up on Jetty Road at the scheduled time, we'll board a boat and leave Coles Bay behind as we start exploring the Freycinet Peninsula. Breathtaking scenery awaits!
During the cruise, you'll gaze at the imposing granite cliffs of the Freycinet National Park, its sea caves and waterfalls. We'll discuss the incredible biodiversity found in this part of Tasmania and try to spot the dolphins that inhabit this area.
We'll see Cooks and Bryan Beaches, skirt the north coast of Schouten Island and then arrive at Wineglass Bay. You'll soon see why this spot is considered one of the most beautiful bays in Australia. The clear, blue waters, white sand and pinkish tones from The Hazards mountain range make this place a dreamlike slice of paradise.
As we cruise through the high seas, you'll have a delicious meal on board. The lunch menu will include an assortment of smoked meats, salads, cheeses, bread, fruit and a sweet treat.
In addition to admiring the beauty of Wineglass Bay, we'll take a trip back in time to the early 19th century to retrace the history of the first European explorers to reach this territory.
After 4 hours 30 minutes on the waves, we'll finish our lunch cruise back at the starting point.
