At 12 pm, we'll meet at Largo da Portagem, from where we'll start our petiscos tour around Coimbra. Who's hungry? Let's discover Portuguese cuisine!
Along the tour, we'll be stopping at several of the best bars and restaurants in the city to sample some of the most traditional dishes and appetizers. We'll visit the Don Pedro V Market, where we'll enjoy the vibrant colors, smells, and flavors that perfectly define the delicious Mediterranean cuisine.
We'll try traditional rissois, codfish dumplings, roast suckling pig bairrada style and cheeses and cured meats. If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll love the Crúzio sweets we'll try in a historic café located within a 16th-century church.
What's more, during the whole food tour we'll pair these delicacies with local wines as well as trying some traditional cherry liqueur.
After two hours, we'll finish the tour at Cafe Santa Cruz.
