At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Fatima. Once we arrive at our destination, we'll walk through its streets until we reach our first stop, the famous Shrine of Fatima. Did you know that it's one of the most important Christian temples in the world? It welcomes millions of pilgrims every year!
At the Chapel of Apparitions, we'll tell you about the mystery of the Virgin Mary's apparitions to the shepherds in 1917. We'll also visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Church of the Holy Trinity, featuring a more modern style.
We'll get back on the minibus to move to the next point, the fishing village of Nazare. Anyone's worked up an appetite yet? Here, you'll have free time to taste the delicious fresh seafood of the region.
Next, we'll take a walk to the Chapel of Memory, which is located on the edge of the promontory in Nazare. The views will be completely spectacular! We'll also visit the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazare, a place that has welcomed countless pilgrimages over the centuries, bringing together people from all walks of life.
From Farol da Nazare, we'll have views over Praia do Norte, a very famous beach among surfers and mainly known as the place where Garrett McNamara surfed, for the first time, the highest wave in history in 2011. We'll learn all about its history!
After 8 hours, we'll be back at your hotel in Coimbra.
