Dão Region Wine Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Coimbra to embark on an adventure to discover the Dão region and the secret of its vintages. Ready?
We'll traverse gorgeous landscapes that contribute to the production of high alcohol wines. First, we'll visit a renowned winery to learn about the extensive fields of vineyards and the differences between the varieties touriga nacional and jaén. What's more, we'll attend a tasting with explanations from an expert winemaker.
Then, we'll go to a traditional restaurant in the region to enjoy a roasted veal dish or delicious young goat meat accompanied with an exquisite red wine.
After refueling, we'll head to another winery, where we'll get a closer look at the wine-making process used for this particular variety. There we'll enjoy a second wine tasting as the perfect finishing touch for this tour.
Lastly, we'll head back to Coimbra, dropping you off back at your hotel at 6 pm.
