Panoramic Tour of Cochabamba with Tasting
Panoramic Tour of Cochabamba with Tasting
At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to begin this tour of the main attractions of Cochabamba.
First, we'll pass by the 14th of September Plaza, where we'll be able to see the beautiful eclectic architecture of the San Sebastian Cathedral, which dates back to the 18th century.
Then, we'll see from the bus some of the most representative places of Cochabamba, such as the Achá Theater, the traditional neighborhood of Tupuraya, aka the little town of Tupuraya, and the Christ of Peace. At 131 ft (40 meters) tall, the Christ of Peace is the second tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world!
Halfway through the tour, we'll stop for a tasting of the most traditional gastronomy of the llajta, a Quechua term used by the community to define itself. You'll taste the most intense and local flavors!
Next, we'll head to the Portales Palace, a beautiful building that houses the cultural center of Cochabamba. You'll find out who used to live there and much more!
After a full day of discovering all that Cochabamba has to offer, we'll take you back to your hotel, arriving at 4 pm.
