This experience gives you the best of both worlds with two thrilling adventures packed into one day: a helicopter ride and a snowshoeing tour in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains.

Description

Prepare to experience the Canadian Rockies at their best! We'll meet up near the David Thompson Highway and hop on a helicopter to set off on our adventure. It's time to soar!

As we cruise over the Rockies, prepare to be blown away by the glaciers surrounding Cline River, the rugged canyons of Coral Creek, and the majestic Michelle Lakes with their cascading waterfalls. Once we touch down in the wilderness, the real fun begins.

We'll strap on our snowshoes and embark on an hour-long hike through the winter wonderland. Depending on the weather, we'll either explore Landslide Lake or other nearby areas that showcase the stunning beauty of the Rocky Mountains. The sights will leave you speechless!

Not only will we soak in the incredible landscapes, but we'll also have a blast snowshoeing. Don't worry if you're a beginner – it's super easy and loads of fun! And to keep us warm, we'll enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate. Yum!

Finally, we'll hop back on the helicopter, and after an unforgettable hour and 20 minutes, we'll touch down at the starting point, wrapping up this incredible experience.

Visit Abraham Lake

Want to take your adventure to the next level? With this option, you'll get even more out of your experience! Buckle up for a thrilling 20-minute helicopter ride, followed by an awesome one-hour snowshoeing tour.

But we're not done yet! We'll also treat you to an additional hour and a half at Abraham Lake, the largest man-made reservoir in Alberta, which has a mind-blowing natural phenomenon. The lake bottom is home to plants that release methane gas. But here's the kicker – the gas bubbles rise to the surface and get trapped in the frozen ice, creating an otherworldly landscape that's absolutely breathtaking.

So, if you're up for the ultimate adventure, choose this option and get ready to be wowed by a helicopter ride, snowshoeing, and the mind-blowing sights of Abraham Lake.

Departure times

We'll let you know the activity schedule a few days in advance since it depends on weather conditions for the helicopter ride. The flights usually take place between 8 am and 5 pm. So, stay tuned for the final details and get ready to soar through the skies!
