At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the cruise port of Civitavecchia and travel by minibus to Tarquinia, just 20 minutes away.
Upon arrival, we'll head over to Etruscopolis, an underground museum that recreates an Etruscan city from the 4th century B.C. Here, we'll discover tombs, houses, and objects that reconstruct different scenes from the daily life of this civilization.
Following the visit to Etruscopolis, you'll have free time to grab some lunch if you wish. Then, we'll take a walking tour of the historic centre of Tarquinia to take in the façade of the iconic monuments such as the communal palace, the medieval towers and the Santa Maria di Castello Church.
Then, after finishig this tour, and after six hours of exploring, the tour will conclude back at the starting point.
Return to Civitavecchia
When booking, you'll be asked to select the time you want to return to Civitavecchia. The departures from the port of Tarquinia are at 2:35, 3:35, and 4:35 pm.
