Day Trip Details

You'll meet your guide in the port of Civitavecchia, and hop on a coach headed toward Rome. Enjoy the scenic landscape of the province of Rome for a little over an hour until you get to the city centre.

Once we arrive at the Eternal City, we'll begin this tour of Rome's most popular tourist attractions. We'll see some amazing spots such as St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, where we'll hop off, and walk through the spectacular square in front of St. Peter's Basilica. Inside, there are masterpieces such as Michelangelo's Pieta.

We'll also stop off at set off on a sightseeing tour of the Castel Sant'Angelo, the Tiber Island, the Cayo Cestio Pyramid, the Baths of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus, the Palatine, Aventine Hill, and the Arch of Constantine.

Of course, a tour of Rome wouldn't be complete without stopping at the Colosseum, where we'll walk to visit significant places around the building, as well as the Roman Forum and Trajan's Column. Nearby, we'll see Piazza Venezia and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II.

In addition to Ancient Rome, we'll have to visit the Trevi Fountain, the Agrippa Pantheon and Piazza Navona, all located within walking distance. You'll love it!

In the afternoon, we'll return to the port in Civitavecchia, arriving in plenty of time to board the cruise ship.

The day trip is not compatible for boat passengers who depart at 5 pm, such as the MSC Divina cruise ship. Please note that this exception will not apply on June 6, 2025. Tour genial..... Daniel el guia inmejorable!!!!! Bastante completo para el tiempo del que se dispone....parada en vaticano, Coliseo, fontana di trevi.....lo que si deseo recalcar que nos costo mas caro reservar por internet que en el mismo instante....pague 60€ por persona y alli les costo a otros viajeros 45€.....nosotros fuimos 4 personas y nos costo 60€ mas por reservar con antelación.....es algo decepcionante en el momento.....por lo de mas todo genial Translate this opinion into English.

Great tour..... Daniel the guide is unbeatable!!!! Quite complete for the time available....stop at the Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain.....what I do want to emphasize is that it cost us more to book online than at the moment....I paid €60 per person and there it cost other travelers €45.....we were 4 people and it cost us €60 more to book in advance.....it is somewhat disappointing at the time.....for the rest everything was great Opinion translated. Hay que empezar por entender que es ROMA. Así que pretender conocerla en 4 hrs es imposible, pero creo que es la mejor opción si solo vas por ese tiempo en crucero. La excursión estuvo muy bien, el choffer del Bus perfecto, sin ningún problema a pesar de su locura de tráfico en Roma y nuestro guía Andrea Genial!! The tour was great, the bus driver was perfect, with no problems at all despite the crazy traffic in Rome, and our guide, Andrea, was brilliant! A wonderful guy, very kind and attentive, and with good recommendations. I would only add that the schedule could have been more flexible.
