Our Rome Private Tour from Civitavecchia is perfect if you want to visit the Italian city comfortably with just your family and friends. The tour is personalised to your needs.
Rome Private Tour
The tour starts from Civitavecchia port, located approximately an hour away from Rome.
Our first stop in Rome will be St Peter's Square, in the Vatican City, where you'll have free time to wander around and step inside the impressive St Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world. You'll also come across remarkable works of art including 'The Pieta' by Michelangelo and 'St Peter's Baldachin' by Bernini.
We'll then leave the Vatican and head to the Colosseum. Here you'll have time to visit the famous amphitheatre and the Imperial Fora while admiring its exceptional views. You'll also find Constantine's Arch and the Palantine Hill.
Following on, we'll stop at the Trevi Fountain, one of the most special locations in the city. Here, you'll have time to eat and admire the striking fountain, renowned for the unforgettable scene in Fellini's Dolce Vita.
After we've eaten, the next stop will be the Piazza di Spagna (where you'll come across the Spanish steps), the Pantheon (built over 2000 years ago yet still remaining in perfect condition) and the Piazza Navona (with its three incredible fountains and Bernini's masterpiece).
The final stop will be Janiculum, considered to be the eighth hill in Rome. This will be the perfect moment to end the tour while taking in the best views of the 'Eternal City'.
We'll leave Rome with plenty of time to board your boat.
Options
- English-speaking driver: The most cost-effective and works for the majority of visitors.
- Driver and accompanying guide: They can guide you around the city but can't go into monuments.
- Driver and official guide: They can guide you around both the city and inside monuments.
Please bear in mind that the tours with a guide reduce the space in the vehicle. For example, if you're a group of 3 people and you want to reserve a tour with a guide, you'll need to choose the 'up to 7 people' ticket option.
