Tamtoc and Taninul Trip
Tamtoc and Taninul Trip
We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and drive through the state of San Luis Potosi for about 40 minutes. The pleasant journey will take us to the lovely town of Tamuín where you'll discover the treasure it hides.
First, we'll stop at the archaeological site of Tamtoc, considered the most important settlement in the region. There we'll discover the culture of the Huastecan people, descendants of the Mayas. We'll walk among the vestiges and mounds to learn about the way of life of the first indigenous people who inhabited the area.
Afterward, we'll return to the road for about 40 minutes to reach Taninul, a hotel with a thermal spa. We'll enjoy an energy bar and an iced tea and, for 2 hours, we'll relax in the gorgeous spring of thermosulfuric waters. You'll also be able to exfoliate your skin with mud. and enjoy a complete beauty treatment in a natural spring!
Finally, we'll enjoy a traditional lunch at the Taninul hotel, consisting of a drink and a traditional dish. With our stomachs full, we then make our way back to Ciudad Valles where we arrive at 5 pm and accompany you to the hotel where the adventure concludes.
