Bring out your adventurous side and admire an incredible protected natural area on our Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge. Deep ravines, steep walls, waterfalls and gravity-defying bridges await!

Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge

At 9 am, we'll meet up at the Almadenes Visitor Centre, which is just a 20-minute drive away from Cieza. We'll get kitted out in our helmets, harnesses and any remaining equipment and get ready to follow the Almadenes Gorge's via ferrata.

We'll spend about 10 minutes walking towards the beginning of the via ferrata, which is located in the final stretch of the Almadenes Gorge. Before we start exploring this protected natural area, we'll discuss some safety regulations that you'll need to follow during the activity.

Let's get started! We'll follow a route with clamps and fixed ropes as we navigate our way around faults and steep walls that tower at around 330 feet (100 metres) high. You'll also gaze out at breathtaking views of the Almadenes Gorge and the Quípar River.

As we work our way along the via ferrata, we'll come to the Almadenes hydroelectric power station, admire the waterfall of the La Higuera Ravine and test our nerves as we cross a monkey bridge made up of just three cables.

After a 2-hour 30-minute adventure, we'll say our goodbyes at the starting point.
