Wulong National Park Private Tour
Tour Description
We'll pick you up at the designated time from your hotel in Chongqing before heading southeast. Ready to discover one of the most fascinating areas of China?
After a 3-and-a-half-hour trip, we'll reach the visitor's centre at Wulong National Park. This natural space recently declared a World Heritage Site will welcome us with its towering karst landscapes. Did you know that locals call it 'the Curse of the Golden Flower' in reference to a Chinese movie? You'll find out why on this tour!
The tour will continue with a visit to Fairy Mountain, where we'll spend 1 and a half hours exploring what is referred to as the Switzerland of southern China. In this area, we'll also take a short ride on a tourist train.
You'll then have an hour of free time to grab some lunch in its surroundings. We'll then visit the Wulong Karst Geological Park. It's also known as Three Natural Bridges Park, as it features three significant structures that range between 150 and 300 metres high (490-985ft). We'll explore for 2 and a half hours, walking along an impressive canyon where various scenes of the movie Transformers were filmed.
Lastly, we'll begin our journey back to your hotel in Chongqing, where we'll conclude this tour after approximately 11 hours.
