Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Chongqing at the appointed time. From there, we'll take an approximately 2-hour drive to Nanchuan County, where Jinfo Shan National Park is located.

Upon arrival at the park, we'll take a public bus to the cable car station, which will take us to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 2,200 meters (7,217 ft). What a view! From there, we'll be able to contemplate natural wonders such as the sea of clouds, the centennial pines, and the occasional monkey that inhabits the cliffs.

During the hike, we'll pass by some points of interest at Jinfo Shan mountain, like its ski resort, valleys full of vegetation, a balcony suspended on a cliff, and even several caves. In spring, you can also enjoy the azaleas in full bloom.

Along the way, we'll take a break to recover your strength with the lunch you brought with you. We recommend that you bring food and snacks, as the food options on the mountain are limited.

Of course, we can't end the day trip without contemplating a spectacular Buddha-shaped cliff. Here, we'll enjoy the last sun rays of the day, certainly a magical moment.

After an unforgettable day, we'll drive back to your accommodation in Chongqing, where we'll drop you off about 10 hours later.
