Chongqing Private Tour
Tour Options
When booking, you can choose between 3 different options. All of them leave from the Marriott Executive Apartments in Chongqing and include an English-speaking guide exclusively for you. Below, you can see the details of each option.
Chongqing Tour
First up, we'll go to Liziba Station, a railway station that runs through a 19-storey building, which has become one of the main attractions of Chongqing.
From here, we'll approach the ancient village of Ciqikou, a place full of history and culture over 1800 years old. There, we'll learn all about the porcelain business and craftsmanship. After wandering the streets of this beautiful corner of Chongqing, we'll head to Eling Park, where we'll find the places practising Tai Chi in this oasis that is home to small bridges and a tower with magnificent panoramic views of the city.
At this point, you'll have free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Feeling refuelled, we'll head to the Three Gorges Museum to learn all about the ancient culture and history of the Chinese city.
We'll continue our private tour exploring the centre of Chongqing and see one of the city's most imposing monuments, the Liberation Monument. Finally, we'll visit Hongya Cave, at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. Did you know that it was the ancient gateway to Chongqing?
Finally, after 9 hours of sightseeing, we'll take you back to the starting point.
Cosmopolitan Chongqing Tour
We'll meet at the starting point and head to the incredible Kuixinglou Building, a rooftop where you'll have one of the best panoramic views of Chongqing's mountain scenery.
Then, we'll continue our tour through the town's alleys to discover the culture and life of the Chinese town. You'll see a mix of Western and Eastern cultures in the streets! Our next stop will be the Qixinggang Walled Gate, the only surviving of the 17 walled gates of Chongqing.
After that, we'll take the Yangtze cable car, a fascinating trip to admire how the Yangtze River crosses the city from north to south. Be sure to take a photo! After this short trip, we'll approach the ancient Longmenhao Street, another great place to continue learning about the culture of Chongqing.
We'll allow you an hour of free time for lunch and, with your appetite satiated, we'll continue exploring the more cosmopolitan Chongqing by approaching Danzishi. Its colonial style can be seen in every building we pass.
Finally, we'll take you to Raffles Shopping Centre to buy some local souvenirs. After a total of 9 hours, we'll finish the tour at the starting point.
Chongqing 2-Day Tour
In this case, you'll spend 2 days discovering all that Chongqing has to offer.
The first day will be dedicated to the itinerary described in the first option. On the second day, we'll take you on a tour of cosmopolitan Chongqing, perfect if you don't want to miss anything in the Chinese city!
