Transfer to Creel + Mennonite Community Lunch
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and head south to the town of Creel.
Halfway through, we'll make a stop at the outskirts of Cuauhtémoc, where the extensive fields of the Mennonites are located. This Anabaptist community rejects any technological advances, which helps them keep their traditional customs intact.
We'll spend a total of 5 hours with members of this Protestant religious denomination who will explain the main traditions of the Mennonites to us. We'll also share a delicious lunch with them that will include various specialties prepared by the community.
After lunch, we'll leave the Mennonite communities of Cuauhtémoc behind and continue our journey through the Mexican state of Chihuahua. As we approach Creel, we'll admire some strange landscapes characterized by very unique rock formations called the valleys of Frogs and Mushrooms. They're sure to surprise you!
Finally, at 7 pm we'll arrive in Creel. Once there, you'll be able to enjoy at your leisure all the attractions of this Mexican town, such as the Tarahumara Museum of Popular Art and the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes.
