Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chihuahua. From there, we'll embark on our trip to the Samalayuca Dunes.
After introductions, we'll board a vehicle and begin our journey through the Chihuahuan Desert. In addition to visiting the Samalayuca dunes, we'll make a stop at the sand dunes of Ejido de la Luz and the rock art of the Sierra de Samalayuca. You'll be amazed!
Once we arrive at the Samalayuca dunes, we'll give you all the equipment you need for the sandboarding activity and tell you how to do this fun sport safely. When we're ready, we'll get on the boards and slide down the immense sand dunes for 2 or 3 hours. It's just like surfing except on sand instead of waves, you'll be surfing over sand dunes!
Going down the dunes surely works up quite the appetite! So we'll head into the town of Samalayuca to refuel with the famous burritos of Villa Ahumada.
With our batteries recharged, we'll head back to the hotel in Chihuahua to finish the sandboarding experience in the dunes of Samalayuca.
