Join us to explore the wildest nature of Chihuahua on this excursion to Peguis Canyon. We'll discover one of the most beautiful and impressive gorges in all of Mexico.
Peguis Canyon Tour
First, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to Pegüis Canyon. Are you ready to visit one of the most famous sites in the desert area of the state of Chihuahua?
Along the three-hour trip to the canyon, we'll pass by such outstanding places as Cuchillo Parado, where the first battle of the Mexican Revolution took place.
We'll also pass by the Grutas de Coyame, where we'll take a one-hour tour of the interior of these caves, and Coyame del Sotol. Did you know that the latter cave is known for an alcoholic beverage called sotol? We'll tell you lots more interesting facts along the way!
Finally, we'll arrive at the breathtaking Peguis Canyon, considered one of the most beautiful canyons in Mexico - you'll soon understand why! We'll walk among its walls of more than 300 meters (984 feet) high and, if you dare, you can take a boat ride on the Conchos River for an hour.
Whether on foot or by boat, we'll enjoy the most beautiful landscapes and be in contact with the wild nature of the Chihuahuan desert. Before returning, we'll leave you some free time in the vicinity of the Pegüis Canyon so that you can have a snack and recover your strength after the route.
After eight to nine hours of hiking, we'll be back at your hotel in Chihuahua. See you next time!
