On this segway tour of Chignin, we'll explore the extensive alpine vineyards. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a tasting of Savoyard wines, a very complete wine tourism experience!

Segway Tour of Chignin + Wine Tasting

We'll meet up at the scheduled time at the Claude Quenard & Fils winery, where after a brief intro, we'll set off on our segway tour of Chignin.

During the route, we'll glide among the vines where the grapes grow and discover the secrets of this wine-growing area of Savoie, which is considered especially favorable due to its ideal climate. While riding the segways we'll learn about the process of how the Savoyard wines are made.

We'll conclude the tour by returning to the facilities of Claude Quenard & Fils, a winery located in a former complex of the Carthusian Fathers. Here we'll enjoy a tasting of 5 wines. This tasting of wines, products of dynamic organic farming, will allow us to learn to differentiate the different nuances of aroma, flavor, and color that characterize the excellent wine products from Savoie.

Did you know that this vineyard has been certified as organic since 2000? It was one of the first in Savoie to opt for this type of agriculture.

After approximately two hours of riding segways and tasting fine wines, we'll conclude the experience at the Claude Quenard & Fils winery.
