Túcume Pyramids Private Tour
Túcume Pyramids Private Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet you at the main entrance of the Túcume Pyramids Archaeological Site. Let's head inside!
Our private tour of this magnificent complex of 26 pyramids will begin with fantastic views from a lookout point. We'll then visit the Museum of the Pyramids of Túcume, where we'll learn about Naylamp, a legendary figure in Lambayeque culture.
You'll spend 2 hours exploring this place with your exclusive guide and learning all about Lambayeque or "Sican" culture. This civilization occupied this part of Peru during the 11th century until its annexation to the Chimu Kingdom and later to the Inca Empire.
We'll see some spectacular pyramids, such as the Huaca Las Balsas, the Huaca Pintada or the Huaca del Pueblo. In addition, we'll explore the walled enclosures and the necropolis and learn about the techniques employed by their builders, who used rectangular adobe bricks. You'll also have the chance to admire the decorative motifs on the walls, where we'll find zoomorphic figures.
Once our private tour of the Túcume Pyramids has come to an end, we'll say our goodbyes at the entrance of the complex.
