Brüning Archaeological Museum Private Day Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chiclayo at your chosen time and set off northbound for Lambayeque. When we get to this place, which is famous for its archaeological sites, we'll visit the Brüning Museum. This museum houses over 1,400 archaeological artifacts from the northern civilizations of Ancient Peru.
Before heading inside we'll admire the famous sculpture of Naylamp, who was the founder of the Lambayeque dynasty of kings, in the garden. During our tour through the museum, we'll see archaeological remains of the Lambayeque, Mochica, Chavin, Vicu, and Inca cultures. The museum's exhibition is a compilation of the findings of the excavations of the German archaeologist Hans Brüning.
Among the main attractions of the museum are the treasures of the Lord of Sipan. This figure was the leader of the Mochicas, one of the most important cultures in pre-Columbian America. In addition, we'll take a close look at the famous Chimu gold funerary mask and representations of the customs of the Lambayecan shamans.
After visiting the Brüning Archaeological Museum, we'll return to Chiclayo. We'll drop you off back at your hotel 2 hours 30 minutes after pickup.
