Chichén Itzá Ticket: Skip the Line
At a time of your choice, you'll present your ticket at the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Site ticket office and be given your ticket so you can start exploring the site at your leisure. Welcome to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!
As soon as you set foot in this place, you'll find yourself enthralled by the magnitude of the site and how well-preserved it is. During your visit, you'll take a trip back in time to the peak of the Mayan civilization.
When you come to the great esplanade, you'll find yourself in front of the Pyramid in honour of the god Kukulkán, which is also called the "Castillo". Around this temple you'll also see two colossal heads of feathered serpents, which are effigies of the god Kukulkan, on the north staircase. As well as being a sacred place, the Chichén Itzá Pyramid also served as an enormous calendar for the Mayas.
Your ticket will also grant you access to the Temple of the Warriors and its columns, upon which battle scenes are engraved. In addition, you can visit the Ball Game, where Mesoamerica's pre-Columbian civilizations' favourite sport was played.
Opening hours
Chichén Itzá is open from Monday to Sunday between 8 am and 5 pm. Please bear in mind that final admission is at 4 pm, and the following areas also close at this time: the Ball game, the Sacred Cenote, the Thousand Pillars Square, the Observatory and the Las Monjas Complex.
