Chicago Ghost Tour
Tour Details
Do you believe in cursed spirits and wandering specters? Chicago, the largest city in Illinois, is riddled with them. We'll begin uncovering the murkier ghost stories of Lincoln Park by meeting at the scheduled time outside the Museum of History.
The park, which is located on the shores of Lake Michigan and will be visited on foot, sits atop the old Chicago cemetery. It's no coincidence that in this gigantic public garden, a large number of souls in mourning have been spotted. But who are these specters and why do they haunt the place? It won't take long to find out which beings from beyond the grave tend to appear at night in this area.
The ghosts of the Lincoln Park Zoo will be the main characters of the first tales we'll learn about. Apparently, around 12,000 bodies rest under the spaces currently occupied by the animals. At nightfall, when the visitors and zookeepers have left the grounds, strange figures dressed in Victorian clothing have been seen...
Next, we'll continue our tour of Lincoln Park along the so-called Suicide Bridge. Is it true that several people have taken their own lives on this walkway? If so, what were their motives for ending their existence? We'll answer all these questions as we take a walk around the bridge.
After learning other spooky stories about the ghosts of Lincoln Park, we'll end this 2-hour tour returning to the meeting point.
