Chester Free Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the City Hall Square to begin our free tour of Chester. You'll love every corner of this city in northeast England!
Our first stop will be at the old gate of the Chester Abbey, right in the historic centre. Afterwards, we'll make our way to Abbey Square and admire the city's Georgian houses. You'll love it!
As well as this, we'll also pass by the walls of the Kale Yard Gate until we reach one of the most important places of Chester, it's Anglican Cathedral. Amazing!
We'll continue the tour by visiting The Rows, where we'll feel as though we've travelled back in time. Its Tudor-style black wood-framed buildings will immediately draw our attention. Afterwards, we'll stop off in front of the Eastgate Clock - a true symbol in Chester.
Finally, we'll make our way to the Roman amphitheatre and its gardens where we'll bring this tour to an end at Chester Cross after 2 hours together.
Groups
On this free tour, groups larger than 6 people are not permitted. If you're with a bigger group, we recommend booking the Chester Private Tour.
