Chinese Cooking Course
Cooking Course Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Liang Jia Xiang metro station, where we'll make our way to a local market in Chengdu, where we'll explore the different food stalls and get all the ingredients we'll need to cook up a storm later on. We'll spend around an hour discovering the most typical products used in Sichuan cuisine as we enjoy the enticing aromas and vibrant colours of the spices.
We'll then head to the venue where our cooking course will take place: a traditional courtyard. On arrival, we'll be welcomed with a cup of Sichuan Gaiwan tea, before beginning our lesson on local cuisine led by a professional chef.
After learning how to prepare some of the most popular dishes from Chinese Sichuan cuisine, we'll have the opportunity to taste what we've made - we'll see if you've become a top chef! At the end of the cooking course, you'll receive a diploma as a souvenir of this culinary experience. After a total of 5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes with happy tastebuds and full bellies.
