Opening Times
The Château de Châteaudun is open from Monday to Sunday at the following times:
- September 5 to April 30: from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5:30 pm
- May 2 to September 4: from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm
The final admission is 1 hour before closing time.
Please note that these hours are flexible and subject to change.
Special Times
Please note that on December 24 and 31, the monument will close at 4 pm.
Free Admission
Admission to the Monks' Chapel is free for the following individuals:
- Young people from the European Union between 18 and 25 years old
- Children under the age of 18, regardless of nationality
For the free tickets mentioned above, you'll have to go to the ticket office of the monument with a valid ID.
Admission is also free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31 and between November 1 and December 31. It's also free on the third weekend of September.
