We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chapada dos Guimarães at the designated time, kicking off our journey to Estância Buriti, located 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Chapada dos Guimarães. Ready to kick off this hiking expedition? Let's dive into the refreshing waters of the Águas do Cerrado waterfalls!
Our 8-kilometer (5-mile) round-trip trail will unveil the stunning waterfalls of Águas do Cerrado. Our first stop will be at a natural pool named Pocinho do Amor, famous for its heart-shaped formation. The water in this pool has greenish hues and is surrounded by buritis, a characteristic plant of the region. Who's up for a swim?
Following a revitalizing dip, we'll proceed to the Orquídeas waterfall, passing by the Almas Gêmeas and Pedra Encantada waterfalls. Spending approximately 20 minutes at each, you'll have ample time to relax and soak in their pristine waters.
In addition to refreshing breaks for swimming, we'll pause to recharge our energy. You'll have free time to savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant—yum!
After eight hours, we'll conclude our trek at the Águas do Cerrado waterfalls, returning you to your hotel in Chapada dos Guimarães.
