At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chania before heading to the south of Crete to begin this unforgettable day trip.
Along the way, we'll drive past picturesque villages and beautiful landscapes until, after about an hour, we'll reach our first stop: Imbros Gorge. Here, you'll get to admire stunning views of the 11-kilometre-long (6.8-mile) ravine—the perfect spot for lovers of nature and the outdoors. If you wish, you can also enjoy a tasty cup of Greek coffee from a nearby café. You'll be amazed by the scenery!
Next, we'll reach Sfakia after a pleasant 20-minute drive. This region is particularly notable for its role during World War II and also offers breathtaking views of Crete's White Mountains (Lefka Ori). From here, we'll take a private taxi boat to Loutro, a picturesque seaside village. Did you know that its name comes from the Greek word for "bath"? Find out why on this day trip!
Once in Loutro, it's time to relax with some free time! This is the perfect destination to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters, stroll along the idyllic beachfront, or simply soak up the sun. If you get hungry, you can visit a local taverna and indulge in some delicious local food like mpoureki or mousaka. Enjoy!
After some time making the most of this Cretan paradise, we'll hop onto the private taxi boat back to Sfakia, where we'll begin our return journey to Chania. We'll drop you off at your hotel and say our goodbyes after a total of 8 hours. See you next time!
