At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chania and set off on our day trip. We'll travel south along the coast of Crete to discover some of the island's most famous beaches. Damnoni, Plakias, and Preveli await!
We'll first head to the village of Damnoni, where we'll take a boat to Preveli Beach, one of the most famous beaches on the island. Once there, you'll have plenty of free time to enjoy the area at your leisure. We recommend strolling along the beach and exploring its emblematic palm forest, relaxing on the fine white sand, and taking a refreshing swim in the calm waters - you'll think you're in paradise!
Our next stop will be the fishing village of Plakias, which has become one of Crete's popular tourist attractions thanks to its wonderful beaches. You'll have an hour of free time here to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
With renewed energy, we'll embark on an hour-long minibus drive to reach the Kourtaliotis Gorge, one of the most beautiful gorges in Crete. Did you know that its walls reach a height of 600 metres? From this cliff, we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the landscapes that characterise the south of the island. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for a hidden hermitage! Will you find it?
After a short photo stop on the way back, we'll finish the day trip back at your hotel in Chania after a total of around 9 hours.
